There Is No Crisis

Let's make that clear. Social Security does not need to be privatized, but the Republicans are trying to convince America otherwise. We can't let them. A great new website There Is No Crisis is going to help us win this battle. Go there now and sign up for rapid response teams and get on their blogroll by putting the cool blogad to the right on your blog now.

Social Security is not bankrupt. The Republicans will tell you it is. Well, it isn't. The facts -- as the often seem to be -- are on our side. The only thing that is bankrupt is George W. Bush's moral compass. He is going to try to push privatizing social security down America's throat by telling lies and nothing but lies. He did it with Iraq. We can't let him do it again. "Ownership society" is bullshit. How about we own up to our promises we made to people? Preserve and protect social security.
